Roy Jutze, Lead Pastor

Roy became the pastor of New Hope Baptist Church in June 2019. He and his wife, Shelly, have been married for 44 years with two daughters and two granddaughters. After a lengthy career in the business world, Roy submitted his life to full-time ministry in 2018. He has a Bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University in Shreveport, Louisiana and a Master’s degree in Theological Studies from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas. Roy enjoys sports, fishing, hunting and being outdoors. He especially enjoys spending time with his family in all of these activities.

Cliff Burrow, Worship Pastor

Cliff became New Hope’s worship pastor in September of 2025. He moved to Conway when he started college at UCA in 1983. He finished his music and religion degree in 1987 at Southern Nazarene University. He has been worship leader at churches in Fort Smith, Greenbrier and in Conway. Cliff and Tonya married in 2009 and both have been involved in choirs and music all of their lives. Cliff believes music plays a vital role in praising and worshiping our God. Cliff is here to help lead and support our pastor and congregation to grow in our walk with our God together as a family, to reach out to be witnesses in our community and to reach the lost for God’s kingdom.
