Our Staff
Roy became the pastor of New Hope Baptist Church in June 2019. He and his wife, Shelly, have been married for 49 years and have two daughters and two granddaughters. After a lengthy career in the business world, Roy entered full-time ministry in 2018.
He earned a bachelor's degree from Louisiana State University in Shreveport, Louisiana, and a Master of Theological Studies degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. Roy enjoys sports, fishing, hunting, and spending time outdoors. Most of all, he enjoys sharing these activities with his family.

Cliff became New Hope's Worship Pastor in September 2025. He moved to Conway in 1983 to attend the University of Central Arkansas and later earned a degree in Music and Religion from Southern Nazarene University in 1987.
Cliff has served as a worship leader in churches in Fort Smith, Greenbrier, and Conway. He and his wife, Tonya, were married in 2009 and have both been involved in church choirs and music ministry throughout their lives.
Cliff believes music is a vital part of praising and worshiping God. His desire is to lead the congregation in meaningful worship, support the pastor and the church's ministries, encourage believers to grow in their walk with Christ, and help equip the church to reach the community with the gospel and advance God's kingdom.
